I love working with clay. I find it very relaxing. I like the soft cool feel of the clay, and the way I can change its shape and texture.

I am lucky enough to have my own small studio in my back garden, with a kiln. I used to have a wheel, but we didn't get on! I prefer to hand build.

​

I get inspiration from everywhere. I see something - a plant, an animal, a building - and that becomes my next project.

​

I don't do commissions any more finding the attempt to fulfil exact requirements too worrisome. 

​

A creative activitiy brings immeasurable enjoyment.
